Alun Macanulty


Alun is a Comox Valley resident with extensive experience as a photographer focused on a cultural witness practice. He has been collaborating with the Comox Valley Art Gallery for the past four years, producing extensive documentation photographs for archives, publications, promotion, photo essays, and exhibition projects. Most recently, Alun has been working closely with the Kumugwe Cultural Society (MAP, Aboriginal Days, the Maori Exchange, the Comox Valley Hospital Project, Offerings/Offrandes), Elder Barb Whyte of the K’ómoks Nation (Comox Valley Hospital Project, Tribal Journeys), and visiting curator France Trépanier (Offerings/Offrandes).
